Assistiistive Technology Blog Sites

Teachers and students should be actively involved in their learning.
Scrap blogging is an interesting way to tell or illustrate a story and it is a free web based service.
An online scrapbook would be an interesting way to summarize and then publicize a field trip or school year.

This website stated that the video was no longer available, but it was designed very creative.

The answer to student achievement and mastery is not found in shaded bubble. We teach, we test, we reteach, we differentiate and we struggle.

Today's students are unlike any other student in history, they have access to more information than any other generation in history.

On this site it helps educators improve their technology proficiency skills and integrate technology with best practices in their educational practice.

This website had many different resources to read upon but one that caught my eye was the face of the classroom.

It gives a variety of resources that educators can use to create a website  to share
information for a target audience which relates to your job and setting.

This website gave insight to help educators learn how to use technology in the classroom especially in the beginning. Using web 2.0 tools increase your personal learning network(PLN).

This website was interesting it was about how to teach kindergarteners how to use Chromebooks.
It also taught them how to use google voice to ask various questions.

Assistive Technology: Principles and Practices

4.1

                                                              Pro's and Con's

The Pro's outweighed the con's in this summary. The websites were very helpful and gave insight to techniques that I didn't know about. Everyone everywhere is talking about 21st century classroom. Technology is the driving force and needs to be enforced in all classroom settings. It gives  variety and resources. We now live in a diverse globalized and complex society and emerging technologies provide unlimited possibilities. You are never too old or young to make your voice heard.
The 21st century education is flexible, creative and challenging. I believe I loved the cmichaels blog the best because it was very creative and was eye catching right from the beginning. I love the quote "Tell me and I forget. Teach me and I remember. Involve me and I learn. It made me curious to know what is a webquest. Zobeidafernandez blog started out with an interesting quote also" Arriving at one goal is the starting point to another. I totally agree with this blog it offers the ideal framework for students and teachers  to mediate on important issues.

My con's were that the Trulia blog wasn't that helpful in my opinion and I disagree with the comment that educators should not use the pencil-paper technique, it is still a great technique to me but that is just my opinion.
