Beta Testing – Evaluating individuals to see if they
have a disability.
Consumer of Assistive Technologies-
Device–It includes hearing aids, wheel chairs and
any other thing that assist individuals with a disability daily living
Direct Consumer Services - Information that is provided
to give them more knowledge
Participation- Individuals who wants more knowledge
and eager to know about their disability.
Prototype – a device that is derived from the
engineering department
Quality Assurance – services that is provided to
assist individuals with their disabilities.
Reasonable Accommodation – any kind of special help
to assist individuals with a disability to help them with their daily living
Tele-rehabilitation – Special kind of visual / audio
information to assist them
Trans-disciplinary Team Approach – Role playing to
help them learn about their disability
Universal Design–it helps all individuals with
products and designs without the need to be assisted
